Lama Scholarship Award: |
| Karpu
Lama Scholarship Award has been set up in
2006 by Mr. Purna Lama, the director of
Ideal English Boarding School in the remembrance
of his late father Karpu Lama. The award
will be given each year through YESS in
the SLC graduates congratulations program
to the highest scorer of School Leaving
Certificate (SLC) examination from Helambu
region. The award carries a trophy and cash
prize of Rs 10,000. |

Summit College Scholarship Award: |

The New Summit College, Old Baneswor has
permanently set up one full-scholarship
to any deserving and diligent students from
Helambu community in any one of the streams
to be recommended through YESS. This award
has been set up in the appreciation of its
former student Jimmy Lama who is also the
current president of YESS who has put continuous
effort into supporting the education in
his community.
Dear upcoming SLC graduates 2064, We

Lama Northumbria University Scholarship Award: |
|
The North Umbria
University in NewCastle, UK has set up this scholarship
named after YESS's ex-president, the young, dynamic
high-achieving Nepalese graduate from the university,
for any Nepalese students willing to achieve a degree
in Bachelors, Master or Postgraduates there. The
scholarship has been renewed for the second time
and the scholarship amounts to GBP 2000 reduction
is the students' first year tuition fee.
