YESS
welcomes our reader to get involved actively.
There are several ways we can think of to be a
part of this project but we are sure that there
are more you can come from your side than we know.
So please do not limit your possibilities to support
us. This project can only achieve its success
in the company of our supporters and that is you.
We are fully aware that the whole idea of importing
a first-class quality education is not possible
without your support.
Few of the many ways you can get involved are

| This
has always been one of the best ways as it is
a direct charity which makes know of whom you
are supporting and experience a real contribution
to witness somebody becomes a different person.
Please contact to Gopal Lama, the founder of Yangrima
School at gonepal@aol.com for detail help as he
is still the coordinator to Yangrima Sponorship
program.
As yet, we are unable to open you with list of
students who need sponsorship but please do contact
us if you are interested. |

| Contributing
for teacher/s salary: |
| Now,
this is the linchpin of everything we are dreaming
of . Hiring a good teacher required to deliver
quality education is not so easy task. On top
of an organization for it, what matters most is
the salary. Since Yangrima will be run on a community
model, there are only so much support available
from the local government and whatever nominal
fee the School might collect from students will
be impossible to cover the salary of teachers.
Well, this is problem everywhere but the difference
is serious here.
Our supporter, www.mondochallenge.org and www.mondochallengefoundation.org
in the UK has already assured us of potential
support on this score so it might be a great idea
to contact them directly to organize if any support
on this way is coming to us. A plus point is that
the charity, MondoChallenge Foundation, is run
by our long term supporter, Anthony Lunch and
Trustees, and they have a lot of experience in
doing this kind of thing all over the world, including
just across the border in nearby Darjeeling/Kalimpong
with our ex Headteachers, Jiwan and Santa Rai! |

| Supporting
for physical maintenance of the School: |
| The
better the infrastructure is, the higher the quality
is. Remaining in closure for these many years,
the infrastructure of the School has collapsed
badly. The building blocks have cracked down,
roofs have been taken away or decayed, furniture
were all destroyed, windows are smashed down,
the area has been overgrown, the hostel and kitchen
buildings needs complete maintenance, water pipeline
needs to be reinstalled, playgrounds need to be
leveled and the list goes on.
Our foremost challenge is go through the complete
capital investment to put the physical facilities
back in order. And of course, the next steps would
be to establish all the playing grounds, set up
library, laboratory etc.
Therefore, here is some serious part to really
support the School regain its earlier position.
As we go past these basic infrastructures, obviously
there are many ways we can add the facility and
make it spacious for expanded activities for wholesome
development of students.. |

| Be
a volunteer: |
| Since
YESS will be actively engaged in running Yangrima
School; there will be several placements for volunteers.
We will have developed connections with local
schools with the aim of providing the necessary
and available support to help them upgrade their
standard of education. So, one can also have the
equally enriching experience of volunteering outside
Yangrima School. Please let us know should you
have any queries, or you can be better informed
by our partner organization Mondochallenge at
info@mondochallenge.org who has several years
of rich experience in organizing such opportunity
who had benefited Yangrima School in this line
tremendously. |
